Victoria Police say they have seized up to $fifteen million worth of pure amphetamine, alongside with money and guns, throughout raids across Victoria. The raids integrated a residence at Maribyrnong, in Melbourne's interior west, where two men barricaded by themselves in a house.
They ended up arrested immediately after a 5-hour stand-off.
A witness has told the ABC he noticed what he thought ended up stun grenades on the flooring below him ahead of police moved in.
Two other people have also been arrested.
Detective Superintendent Doug Fryer claims hand guns and cash have been located at the Maribyrnong property.
He claims they also uncovered 15 kilograms of pure amphetamine at a refined drug lab at St Leonards, on the Bellarine Peninsula near Geelong.
At the handle at Maribyrnong we identified a range of handguns, a big amount of income, he mentioned.
